The Institute of State and Law and the Tradition of Legal Research

Academia Publishing House has published Jan Kober's publication Ústav státu a práva a tradice právního výzkumu (The Institute of State and Law and the Tradition of Legal Research) as part of its Věda kolem nás (Science Around Us) series. The brochure was published on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of State and Law, which took place in 1955. The publication introduces the development of the institute from 1955 to 1993 and also pays attention to placing the institution's activities in the broader context of the development of scientific research in the 19th and 20th centuries.
