The Institute of State and Law and the Tradition of Legal Research

Tereza Snopková is one of the panelists at the seminar of the Commission for the Environment of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Commission for Energy of the Czech Academy of Sciences entitled Renewable Resources – State Goals with Local Impact, which will take place on Monday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the halls of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic No. 206 and 205 at Národní 3, Prague 1.

Professor Monika Pauknerová, a long-time researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences, has become an emeritus researcher at the institute. She received the appointment on March 18, 2026, from the director of the institute Lenka Vostrá, at a ceremonial gathering marking the 70th anniversary of the institution's founding.

Professor Karel Eliáš received an honorary doctorate from Palacký University in Olomouc for his extraordinary scientific merit and creative contribution to the field of law and legal culture. The ceremony took place on March 5, 2026 in the Archbishop's Palace at an assembly of the academic community.
