Principles of European Private Law in Application Practice – Code of Conduct for Consumers: Yes or No?

The conference is taking place on 31 May and 1 June 2018 in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno.

The international scientific conference ‘Principles of European Private Law in Application Practice – Code of Conduct for Consumers: Yes or No?’ is implemented in response to the preparation of the code of conduct for consumers reflecting on the current non-uniformity of consumer protection legislation and promising its unification into a single Act. The goal of the conference, devoted to the code of conduct for consumers, is to not only provide information on the legislation under preparation but also evaluate the pros and cons of the code and take a look at the legislations of the states where a code of conduct for consumers is part of their laws. The output of the conference will be a reviewed compendium of contributions.
