METAMORPHOSES OF LAW IN THE CENTRAL EUROPE II
TWENTY YEARS AFTER
The conference will take place on November 9 – 11, 2010 at the premises of Loucký monastery in Znojmo.
A list of the main topical areas:
(proposed areas should not limit a contributor in any way, it is only an orientation scheme)
1. Status of law and its perception by society
2. Law-making and legislative and technical level of legal order
3. Constitutional, administrative and general judiciary. Role of the state prosecuting attorneys, the Bar and the police.
4. State administration and self-government.
5. Private activities, public contracts, law of competition, etc.
6. A course of law at the secondary schools and universities and organization of research in the field of law.
7. Minorities and an attitude towards them.
8. Political parties and unincorporated associations.
9. EU Law and an attitude towards the ECHR.
