Institute of State and Law of the CAS organizes an online conference Technical and legal Aspects of Autonomous Driving. The conference is taking place on 25 November 2020 within fhe research project Civil Liability for Damage caused by Operation of Autonomous Vehicles (TAČR TL02000085).
In March of this year, the Research Unit for Medical Law and Bioethics by the Institute of State and Law of the CAS prepared a document that summarized essential ethical and legal principles on which any decision-making mechanisms on the allocation of scarce resources should be based. This document was further discussed during the summer. Based on foreign discussions and position papers, we have significantly reworked our original recommendations and added decision algorithms.
